On November 5, 2011 Marist College participated in the EPA Game Day Challenge, a friendly competition between colleges and universities across the nation to promote waste reduction at football games. The team at Sodexo worked together to collect and separate nearly 3,000 pounds of waste into proper collection bins. Marist Dining Services has been recognized as the “Organics Reduction Champion” of the 2011 Challenge. For the second year in a row, Marist College’s waste reduction efforts have surpassed those of numerous academic institutions. View results |
